Preschool Teacher/Director Position

Redemption Episcopal Preschool is owned and operated by Redemption Episcopal Church, Southampton. We are growing and are looking for the right person to guide our expansion. Our philosophy is to provide a quality academic program based on Christian values and beliefs. Children of all denominations and religious backgrounds are welcome.

This position would combine teaching responsibilities as well as interfacing with the preschool administrator to ensure the daily operations of the preschool and to develop future programs and expansion.

The desired candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional studies in early childhood or other education and/or teaching and/or childcare experience. People management and/or program development skills would preferred. Child abuse, Criminal background checks and first aid/CPR certification are required. This is a part time position, Monday through Friday with possibility of future full time. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

· Oversee daily operation of the preschool

· Create policies and develop age appropriate programs.

· Maintain and update website and other social media

· Plan the yearly calendar

· Monthly letter to parents

· Plan and assist in fund raising activities

· Manage parent and staff interactions. Problem resolution as needed.

· Oversee staff management and hiring with program manager.
