Workshop #1 - Cultivating an Appreciation and Enthusiasm for Giving
For many parishes the mindset and practice of stewardship has long been associated with funding annual operating expenses, the occasional capital campaign, enriching the endowment, or funding a special project. This workshop will introduce an interpersonal approach to stewardship that integrates the practical need for funding with your missional call to nurture deeper, more meaningful and transformational relationships with parishioners, neighbors and other supporters in ways that inspire an appreciation and enthusiasm for participating in your mission through giving - financially, participation in ministry, and the sharing of God-given gifts.
Workshop #2 - Implementing Relational Stewardship in Your Parish
As an Episcopal faith community your ability to establish meaningful value-added relationships with parishioners, neighbors, and other supporters is essential to achieving your mission and financial stewardship goals. Grounded in the richness of Episcopal identity and theology, this workshop will guide participants through the practical steps for implementing a relational stewardship strategy in their parish that can serve a variety of missional and funding needs including congregational vitality, ministry development, annual appeals, capital campaigns and planned giving. Resources will be made available to each parish participant.
