Proclaim the power of Jesus Christ (12/20/19)

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

As we celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, let us remember the joy of following Him. The angels will sing, and in that song of praise and joy let us remember our fundamental identity as followers of Jesus Christ.

A people of peace.

A people of hope.

A people of gratitude.

A people who are baptized in his name.

A people who stand forth in a world of darkness and proclaim the power of Jesus Christ.

Thus, a people who have experienced the love of God and share that love.

Most blessed and Holy Christmas from the historic and faithful Diocese of Pennsylvania.
