Why We Celebrate Vietnam Veterans Day:
Vietnam Veterans Day, observed annually on March 29th, marks the day in 1973 when the last U.S. combat troops left Vietnam, ending the war for the United States. This day honors the nearly 3 million service members who served, as well as those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Designated by Congress in 2012, it serves as a reminder of the courage and resilience shown by those who served in one of the most challenging conflicts in American history.
