Andy Brown returns on Saturday, April 5th with a varied concert of music spanning the range of the organ repertoire.

His program includes:

Passacaglia and Fugue in C minor, J. S. Bach, BWV 582

Adagio from Symphony No. 3, Camille Saint-Saëns (arranged by Emile Bernard)

Chorale No. 3, Cesar Franck

Adagio from Symphony No. 7, Anton Bruckner (arranged by Bruckner)

More about Andy Brown :

Andy Brown is one of the leading organists of his generation. He has performed all across the country in many concerts, recitals and conventions. He has been reviewed by The American Organists as an organist that “employs a variety of colors and extensive dynamic shading” and plays both “musically and with great character.” Andy is currently a student of Alan Morrison at the Curtis Institute of Music where he performs on organ, piano and harpsichord in various solo chamber and orchestral concerts. Andy is currently an assistant organist at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington DC and is also the organ scholar at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Philadelphia. Andy has appeared in numerous online performances broadcasted throughout the world gaining international recognition. In 2021 he was the first place winner of the Regional Competition for Young Organists in the Mid Atlantic Region. Andy has previously studied under Isabelle Demers and Monte Maxwell. Andy is also a very active harpsichordist studying under Leon Schelhasse and also works extensively with the Curtis Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Jim Ross and Yannick Nézet- Séguin.
