Chrism Mass and Renewal of Vows

The Chrism Mass, celebrated in the morning is a gathering of the diocesan family, during which all clergy together with the bishop, perform the annual renewal of their vows of ordination. Also at this liturgy, the oil of chrism, the oil of the sick and the oil of the catechumens are blessed by the bishop and distributed through their clergy to each congregation of the diocese.Clergy are asked to wear a red stole.
