Last week the City of Philadelphia announced that it was lifting its restrictions a week early (June 2nd). Therefore, churches in Philadelphia may, along with the rest of the diocese, reduce most restrictions beginning June 6. However, it should be noted that the City is keeping their mask mandate in place for the time being. They will be offering an update on this by June 11 which we will publicize. To allow yourselves maximum time for planning, we encourage all Philadelphia churches to monitor the City’s official announcements.
In addition, the CDC released updated guidance for children’s camps and activities. We have updated our previously issued guidance accordingly.
