The Field is Holy (2022 Diocesan Convention)

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022

Seal of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania

When the field is released in the Jubilee, it will become holy, like a field devoted to the LORD.

Leviticus 27:21

Jesus

Dear Friends in Christ,

Wherever I go, I speak about the revolutionary nature of this diocese. The spirit of innovation that fuels what we do and who we are.

For six years we have labored in the field together. As I begin my seventh year, I want all of us to rededicate ourselves and our labor. The field is ready for us as laborers to see even more growth than we have had in the last several years.

This will be the theme for our diocesan convention beginning on Friday, October 21, with Eucharist at The Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral and continuing on Saturday, October 22. You can see all of the deadlines and information on this convention page.

Our seven pre-convention meetings, online and in-person, are scheduled to provide an opportunity for you to have your questions answered around the proposed budget, resolutions and canons changes. All the dates are listed here.

Together, we are a revolution of change in Jesus’ name that cannot be stopped.
