Last year, the diocese announced its partnership with Villanova University to create Serviam, an educational platform for the diocese. As part of its commitment to educate church leaders, Villanova is offering several opportunities for diocesan members around its Master of Science in Church Management. The next cohort of students who will start this summer. Here is some information and grant opportunities around the program:
1. Virtual Information Session for the Villanova Master of Science in Church Management
Thursday, March 3, 2022 at noon EST

This 40-minute information session will explain the Master of Science in Church Management program, including curriculum, classes, and costs.
The program is accepting applications now, and classes start in May. Church employees are eligible for scholarships provided by Villanova. The next cohort of students begins this summer. More information on the MSCM can be found at www.mscm.villanova.edu or email chesley.turner@villanova.edu
2. Hispanic Church Leaders MSCM Scholarship
Application Deadline: 4/15/2022
Amount: $5,000
The Villanova Center for Church Management will award up to fifteen $5,000 scholarships for Hispanic pastoral leaders seeking to earn a Master of Science in Church Management from Villanova School of Business. This scholarship can be coupled with existing Villanova MSCM scholarships. Scholarship application link can be found on the instructions page for the admissions application. Scholarship applications will be reviewed upon admission into the program. This scholarship is made possible by a grant to the Center for Church Management from the Lilly Endowment’s National Initiative to Address Economic Challenges Facing Pastoral Leaders.
