My Siblings in Christ –
As Christians, we are called to be peacemakers, to listen with compassion to those who may disagree with us, and to seek unity. For many, today will be filled with anxiety and uncertainty. I want to remind you that many of our churches are open on Election Day for those seeking space for quiet prayer and reflection.
We pray for our nation, that we may be guided by the values of justice, peace, and the dignity of every person.
We pray for those running for office, that they may serve with integrity, wisdom, and a deep sense of responsibility to the common good.
We pray for all voters, that they approach their civic duties with prayerful discernment.
We pray for our communities, that they may be agents of peace and reconciliation.
May God bless you, and may God bless our nation.
