UTO grants

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

1st Thessalonians 5:16-18

Jesus

What are you thankful for?

Each and every day we have cause to give thanks … for family, for friends, for the roof over our heads or even for the fact that we got to get up in the morning to see yet another new day.  We all have cause to give thanks.

As you count your blessings and reasons to be thankful, I hope you will support the work of the United Thank Offering (UTO). Monies collected by the UTO go directly to support mission and ministry in our churches. Just this year, two of our parishes, Grace and the Incarnation and Holy Innocents/St. Paul’s received a grant to help them expand their food ministry.

Giving is easy:

  • You can give online.
  • You may continue placing your coinage and bills in your UTO Blue Boxes. Print out and make your own box here!  All will be counted and collected by Parish UTO Coordinators. She/he will then turn monies over to their vestry or treasurer who will then write a check to DFMS with UTO Ingathering in the memo line.

If you would like UTO Blue Boxes or would like more information about establishing a parish UTO coordinator, please contact our diocesan UTO Coordinator, Sharida Gillison, Schroder918@msn.com. You can also give directly at our Diocesan Convention on October 22-23 this year.

Thank you for your support of the United Thank Offering and may our Lord Jesus bless you and fill your heart with gratitude and joy.
