United as One Blood Drive

The Diocese has partnered with the American Red Cross to host "United As One" blood drive to raise awareness of gun violence and safety. 

• Every 2 seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood.
• Suicides accounted for more than half of U.S. gun deaths in 2020 (54%)
• While 43% were gun related murders.
• Gunshot victims require an average of 10 times more blood than other trauma patients. In 2020 the United states hit an all time record for the amount of gun related deaths.
