About the presenter: Abagail Nelson

Abagail Nelson is the Executive Vice President at Episcopal Relief & Development where she leads global program strategy. She has worked throughout Africa, Asia, Latin America and the United States for over 20 years, responding to disasters, alleviating hunger, fighting disease and reducing exposure to risk. Nelson takes a systems approach to development challenges, and has led broad coalitions of private, public and faith based partners to achieve programmatic impact. She currently serves on the board of directors of Corus International, and the Anglican Alliance, and is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Nelson holds a BA from Harvard College and an MSc from the London School of Economics. A lifetime Episcopalian, she lives with her husband and two children in Brooklyn, NY where Abagail serves on the vestry of Grace Church, Brooklyn Heights.
