Our featured presentation is " Bad Tidings," a documentary about Hurricane Sandy. We will welcome a guest presenter from Citizen's Climate Lobby, who will show the film and lead the discussion. Bad Tidings is set in the town of Sea Bright, New Jersey, a small barrier island community of 1800 people, located just south of Sandy Hook, N.J. This town was devastated from Superstorm Sandy. Climate models are predicting  a sea level rise in the future of up to five feet, which would wipe out the town. What should the residents do? How should they respond? Can the residents afford to leave? Can they afford not to? Free organic refreshments. Donations benefit St. Luke's.

We choose films that are both inspiring and thought provoking. The discussions after the films are lively, and we learn from each other's questions and points of view. Our group is friendly and welcoming. We offer an evening of socialization and spiritual renewal
