Silent Film Performance (with Music) 10/29/23

Sunday, October 29th at 5pm St. Luke's, Germantown, will hold our next Silent Film performance. Oliver Twist is a 1922 American silent drama film adaptation of Charles Dickens' 1838 novel Oliver Twist, featuring Lon Chaney as Fagin and Jackie Coogan as Oliver Twist.

At the heart of this performance is the dynamic, off-the-wall brilliant musicianship of Rasaan Bourke and Thomas Giles. These gentlemen keep us at the edge of our seats with their masterful improvisatory dialogue woven into the decades-old film.

The October installation is a one-night-only event. Over the past two years, it has become a beautiful opportunity for the entire community of Germantown to gather here at St. Luke's. A free will offering is encouraged.
