Welcome!

Are you longing for a deeper sense of meaning or belonging?  Are you feeling disconnected from God?  Do your spirits need to be lifted?  Do you just want to sing and praise God with others?  Then you’ve come to the right place.  We hope you will join us as we revive and come alive with Jesus.  The Gospel choir from St. Paul's Elkins Park - Shango-Jamal Lewis and others - will perform.

What is a Revival?

A revival is a gathering of Christians who come together for worship, music, inspiration and fellowship.  It is marked by strong preaching and uplifting music and creates an opportunity for individuals to make commitment of faith or otherwise renew their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Why have a Revival?

A revival will energize, motivate and awaken your spirits and invite you into a relationship with Jesus Christ.  They can inspire a spiritual reawakening from a state of dormancy or stagnation and can mark a new beginning in an individual’s or church’s relationship with God.

Why should I attend?

Few of us are feeling our best right now.  The pandemic, political division, economic stress and the spectre of war have left us feeling anxious, depressed and disconnected.  We need a lift!  We need more than a lift, we need to be revived!  If you are longing for something positive and uplifting, if you are longing to find a deeper sense of meaning and purpose, if you are longing to know the peace that comes only from God, then you should come to the revival.

What should I expect?

A gathering of hundreds from around our region, the revivals will be filled with praise, uplifting music, inspired preaching and prayer.  There will be areas set aside for individual prayer requests, confession and the chance to talk about faith.  There will also be food and other fun surprises.

You can come for one or both days and stay for as long as you care to.  Children are most welcome!

How can I connect with a church near me?

About The Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania and The Episcopal Church

The Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania is a community of 135 churches in the five counties of southeastern Pennsylvania.   Our call is to lead people to Know Jesus and to Change the World in his name.

Episcopalians believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Episcopal Church has roots in the Church of England and is part of the part of the Anglican Communion which is the third largest group of Christians in the world.

We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection saved the world.

We have a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being; women and men serve as bishops, priests, and deacons in our church. Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church. Leadership is a gift from God, and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of sexual identity or orientation.
