Queer Theology Reading Group at the Church of St. Luke & the Epiphany
Thursday, October 27 at 6:30 p.m. | 330 S 13th St, Philadelphia, PA 19107
The Bible offers complex, nuanced discussions of gender and sexuality that must be carefully examined before applying them to our modern times. Join us for a reading group and discussion circle focused on understanding how to approach the Bible with a Queer lens—and how to interpret the social justice issues our Church faces with Scriptural insights. The discussion group will be led by Rev. Joseph Wallace-Williams, Rector of the Church of St. Luke & the Epiphany in Philadelphia. Short, free digital readings will be distributed to registrants prior to the event, but all are welcome to attend regardless of their familiarity with the topic.
Audience: Open to everyone
This event is free, and registration is not required. However, to help facilitate event prep, please RSVP to lgbtqia@diopa.org if you can.
