Queer Holiness

Join the LGBTQIA+ Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania for a conversation with the Rev. Dr. Charlie Bell about the state of queer rights in the Church of England and Anglican Communion, and the gifts that LGBTQIA+ people bring to the Christian faith.

Author of the new book Queer Holiness, the Rev. Dr. Bell, a practicing physician who lives in London and serves as curate of St. John the Divine, Kensington in the Diocese of Southwark, will offer perspectives from science, theology, and his experiences as a church leader on the value of queer acceptance and inclusivity and the possible steps forward for a more LGBTQIA+ affirming church. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion during this roundtable-format event.

The program is free and open to the public, but advance registration is recommended.  Twenty-four copies of Queer Holiness are free for those who attend the event on a first come, first serve basis. Please register HERE.
