he 2022 forum of the history committee - Racism and Discrimination in the Episcopal Church: Personal and Parish Histories - will explore this topic by drawing on (1) the oral history collections of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania and the African American Oral History Project of the Virginia Theological Seminary (2) the oral history of two linked parishes, Holy Apostles and the Mediator (HAM), West Philadelphia and its sister parish, the Church of the Holy Apostles, Penn Wynne. Speakers to include diocesan oral historians Clark Groome and William Cutler; Riley Temple, Collection Growth Specialist for the African American Episcopal Historical Collection at Virginia Theological Seminary; the Rev. James Stambaugh, Church of the Holy Apostles Penn Wynne; and Marcia Hinton, parishoner at Church of the Holy Apostles Philadelphia.
