Bright Lights Ministry: Calling Knitters and Crocheters! (12/11/24)

Inspired by story heard in a taxi, Bright Lights Ministry is in honor of a woman, unhomed, who received a bright green hat and mitten set one Christmas Eve after a community meal at a church. She told of how much the beautiful, brightly- colored hat meant to her, that she felt seen, loved, and acknowledged. With our work, we extend warmth to people who have a life on the street.
Knit or crochet any hat and mitten pattern of your choice. The only “rule” is they must be bright, vibrant colors. Stripes are fine, too. A great way to use your stash. Participation in the meet-ups not required to make hats! Help us reach our goal.
