Walk the Way (2/1/25)

The Walk the Way discernment retreat is for anyone in the early stages of discernment for ordination. If you are curious about ordination to the diaconate or priesthood, please come and hear more about this process and calling from the bishop.

The retreat will include worship, time with Bishop Daniel, a panel discussion, breakout groups, and explanations of the twists and turns of formation and discernment.  

All persons who apply for postulancy must have fully attended one of these retreats; therefore if a person has a parish discernment group going but didn't attend last year's retreat, they need to come this time.  

Starting this year we encourage sponsoring priests and spouses (or partners who are likely future spouses) to also join us for this retreat.  If you have any questions, please contact Pam Prell, Associate for Transitions, transitions@diopa.org. Those interested should fill out this form.
