All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 9601 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19114

All Saints’ Episcopal Church Torresdale will host a very special program of “Reflections of Peace.” This will be an Ecumenical evening with spirituals, jazz, scripture and inspirational readings focusing on peace and social justice in today's world featuring the musical and vocal talents of The Brass Roots Trio along with readers from All Saints' Episcopal Church, Redemption Lutheran Church, Holy Innocents St. Paul's Episcopal Church and St. Katherine of Sienna.

Equally at home on the concert stage and in the church sanctuary, Brass Roots Trio has inspired listeners across the US and England. With trumpet, french horn and piano (plus the bonus of a brilliant operatic tenor). Brass Roots Trio has won acclaim for its adventurous programming, breathtaking virtuosity and artistic passion.

“Reflections of Peace” is based on the ‘Lessons & Carols’ format of music interspersed with readings that will be presented by parishioners of the four participating houses of worship. Brass Roots Trio members Rosetta Senkus Bacon (piano), Travis Heath (trumpet and flugelhorn) and Douglas Lundeen (French horn, Native American Flute and voice) infuse their music with passion and exuberant energy.

Since 2004 Brass Roots Trio has played to standing ovations in every corner of the US and England with performances at the Chicago Brass Festival, St. James Piccadilly in London, Oxford University, Crystal Cathedral, Cathedral of St. John the Divine and on Community Concert Series, Chamber Music Series and NPR. In 2009 Brass Roots Trio was honored to perform for President and Mrs. Obama and their guests at the White House.
